The Edmonton Urban Farm is a unique model of urban agriculture in the heart of Edmonton. Our two acres are lovingly gardened by 300 farmers from 22 different groups. Their vegetable gardens reflect a diversity of approaches and cultures, and display a wide range of foods from artichokes to zoom (a green popular in Cameroon!).

Take a guided tour, or wander quietly through our paths. Chat with farmers and ask all the questions that you like. Bunnies, chickens, and honeybees are onsite too!

Visitors love learning about honey bees, bumble bees, and solitary bees. We’ve got amazing flowers, with a strong emphasis on pollinator favourites. Two microentrepreneurs operate onsite–Shrubscriber with a heritage tree nursery, and them flowers with a cut flower farm.

  • We’ve got bunnies to pet and chickens to check out.
  • Join Kids Club from 10:30-12:00 and listen to music in the afternoon (1-3). Activities for kids throughout the day–including a bison-themed craft!

The Edmonton Urban Farm is a place where visitors feel peace, inspiration, and renewal!
