Farm / Garlic Goodness | Participating in Open Farm Days 2023

Farm Type: Garlic, Scottish Highland Cattle and Seasonal Vegetables

Region

Central

Town

Innisfail

Come dig some garlic, a carrot, onion or potato fresh from our rich, chemical-free soil. See our small herd of Highland cattle on pasture – they’re gorgeous, happy animals.

  • We sell sides of naturally-raised beef.
  • The walk around the gardens is the best, and it takes about half an hour depending on your interests.
  • In the barn we’ll have garlic hanging to dry along with crafts, photos, books, baskets and spectacular locally-crafted garlic keepers.

Visiting our farm is really a trip back to a simpler time. Our produce is planted, weeded and harvested by hand with the help of local workers and the result is strong, great-tasting vegetables that might surprise you with their fresh-from-the-earth flavour. Alberta is famous for its root crops and that’s what we specialize in – garlic, onions, potatoes, carrots and a few other seasonal favourites like tomatoes and peppers.
