Available Educational Classes 

We are pre-booking 2 group educational classes for Open Farm Days!

• $50 a person/ per class
• Must book ahead of time online
• 5 spots per time slot available

Raising Pigs- You will learn the basics and see all of the pigs, piglets, and set ups, time for Q&A, and go home with a copy of what you learn! This is a 1 hour class.

• Raising pigs class times: 9:00 am-10:00 am, or 4:00 pm-5:00 pm

Raising Chickens– You will learn the basics, you will see our babies, brooders, set-ups, time for Q&A, and go home with a copy of what you learn! This is also a 1 hour class.

• Raising chickens class times: 10:00 am -11:00 am, 4:00 pm-5:00 pm

On our farm, we raise sought after Mangalitsa & Kune Kune Pigs, Maremma LGD to protect your livestock, and many different Heritage and Rare Chickens, Heritage and Wild Turkeys, and many colors of Guineas, many sought-after breeds of Ducks and Geese.

We believe in living off the land, growing our own food, and raising our own animals to ensure the best farm practices and health for our family.

We started from scratch and have been small-scale farming since 2006. As we became more knowledgeable and experienced in many different areas of farming, and saw the lack of help and support specifically for beginners, we decided to start sharing what we have learned in over 16 years with you so you and your family can be more self-reliant too!

We rent out hatching kits, run educational classes and have online courses to educate and support those just getting started.

There will be limited chicks, chickens, piglets and pigs available for purchase.

We are located 5 minutes west of Morinville in Sturgeon County.
