Quedenbaum Farms Inc.

Quedenbaum Farms Inc. is a grain farming operation owned and operated by Uwe and Nadine Quedenbaum. We’re producing wheat, barley, canola, faba beans, and peas. On the side, we have free-range chickens (egg layers) and American Blackbelly sheep, which are unique in their looks and don’t require shearing as they are hair sheep.
When you come out we will show you the crops we produce, what is needed to grow them and what they are used for. You can check out our machinery and pet our animals.

At Quedenbaum Farms Inc. we are finding ways to produce sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Ask us about:
-soil sampling/soil tests
-crop-rotation
-direct seeding
-check out our 10.2 kW grid-tied solar system
-native pollinator habitat project
-bat houses/habitats

We specialize in small volume feed grain sales to backyard/acreage/hobby farm owners.

Let us give you a tour of our fields and check out our displays.

Hands-on activities:
-measure the moisture in grains
-use screening sieves to clean wheat and canola
-make flour
-press oil out of canola seeds
-feed chicken and sheep

Join us in August when more than 100 farms, ranches, and ag-tourism operators open their gates and invite visitors to share in local stories, see on-farm demonstrations and purchase locally grown and produced products.
