Come learn about raising pasture chickens!
We’ve been raising pastured chickens the last 9 years. We start these meat birds at the beginning of June as day old chicks. Within a few weeks (weather dependent) the chicks are big enough to start foraging outside for grass and bugs. On August 20th, come out to see how much they have grown!

- There will be a couple of demonstrations on preserving various garden vegetables and fruits.
- The tours/demonstrations will be at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm- No sign up needed.
- A limited number of frozen, gov’t inspected processed chickens will be for sale.
