GelenvisWelcome to our 4th Open Farm Days event! Our goal is to introduce visitors to the wonderful
range of agricultural producers in our region. We are known for a fun family full-day event
including a vendor market with local food producers, artisans, and entertainers followed by our
magnificent delicious local food inspired chef dinner, with a dynamic performance of local
singers and songwriters to complete your day! All of this happens at the historic George Pegg
Botanic Garden.

Outdoor Local Food Market – 10:00 am- 4:00 pm
An outdoor showcase of local food producers with vendor tables and family-friendly activities.
- Market vendors including vegetables, meat, eggs, fruit, cut flowers, beeswax products,
mushrooms, coffee beans, garden signs, and more! - Face painting, lawn games, farm safety scavenger hunt, and crafts
- Meet our local 4H members and find out what 4H is all about
- Take a tour of the historic Garden and farmstead buildings
- Buy food on site or bring a picnic lunch
- At about 3:00 PM join Chef Lindsay for a walk around the market to meet the vendors
- Enjoy the Country Fair theme
- Free admission
Outdoor Dinner & Concert 5:30 pm- 9:00 pm
Enjoy an exceptional meal prepared by Chef Lindsay Porter, from Edmonton’s restaurant The
Common. The Asian-inspired dinner combines ingredients grown by local producers. With open
air seating, each course is served picnic-style. While enjoying dessert, musician Erin Haley
presents a 45-minute concert. From busker to show-opener, meet musician Halle May Hobbs.
