Stettler Agricultural Society features many programs for the community, featuring agriculture, sports and recreation for all ages. We provide a weekly Alberta Approved Farmers market, highlighting ‘Market Buds’ a program for youth 6 to 12 to teach were our food comes from. Out community benefits from Buffalo Lake tourism and summer resident traffic, the main street has had an increased draw due to unique shopping experiences. We are central to all areas of the community, with access to shopping, restaurants, Pioneer Train Station and essential services. Our Society combines agricultural experiences with food and fun events that attract all ages and cultures.
Our Board of Directors and staff are familiar with all aspects of rural life, and look for opportunities to collaborate with groups, clubs and associations within the community to encourage education and promotion of the importance of sustainable rural communities.
