Twisted Pine Farms is a horse training and lesson facility specializing in starting young and inexperienced horses. Our training methods are calm, gentle, natural and fear-free for the horse. We also specialize in training mules and donkeys. During your visit, we will be having training demonstrations with horses and donkeys of all ages and experience levels. You will learn about proper Healthcare for the animals and safety around them. Our farm is family-run and operated and is situated on an old homestead, there are several walking trails and a preserved historic site hidden in the trees.
Horse training demonstrations will be given showing how to train an unbroke horse, proper safety around horses, and Healthcare for horses. There will be a concession to buy food with burgers, hot dogs, drinks, and more. There will be pony rides and donkeys for kids to pet and brush, and wagon rides. Tours of the farm will be given and how day-to-day operations work at a horse training facility. No smoking is allowed on the premises. Visitors should wear closed-toe shoes and pants.
