After participating in Alberta Open Farm Days in previous years with the Edmonton Urban Farm, we’re incredibly excited to welcome you to the Farm this August.

Come explore our unique forest Farm, unlike most you’ve seen before—nestled in the beautiful Beaver Hills Biosphere, just outside Elk Island National Park.

• Milwaukee Tools Event Tent – Live demos and hands-on activities

• The Nest Cafe & Boutique Lamont – Serving coffee, drinks, and treats (available for purchase)

• BBQ, Snacks & Refreshments – Tasty options for everyone (available for purchase)

• Kid-Friendly Fun – Activities, open space to run and play, and plenty to explore

• Pond Discovery Zone – Learn about the life cycle and ecosystem of freshwater shrimp and various leech species from our 80-acre pond

• Nature Trail Walks – Take a stroll and enjoy the sights and sounds of this incredible property

• Bird Watching – Spot local and migratory birds around the pond

• Rent-a-Hen Demonstrations – Learn how our backyard coops work, ask all your questions about Urban Hens

• Foraging & Fungi – Discover the wild edibles and mushrooms from our Farm
