Welcome to Majak Meadows!

Join us for Alberta Open Farm Days at Majak Meadows, where sustainable agriculture meets scenic beauty in Central Alberta. My husband Kurt and I, along with our family, invite you to experience our commitment to regenerative farming at two unique locations.

Saturday Location:

Majak Meadows, Gull Lake On Saturday, visit our main farm at Gull Lake, near Ponoka County, Alberta. Explore our diverse array of animals, including our milk cow Ida, sheep, meat birds, ducks, geese, and more—all raised for direct-to-consumer consumption. Discover our sustainable practices, from rotational grazing, which enhances soil health and ecosystem resilience. Enjoy a leisurely lunch in our picturesque picnic area, where you can bring your own food and blankets. As the sun sets, unwind with live music, creating a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Sunday Location: Find us here: Map

Tamara Ranch/ Steel Pony- East of Red Deer On Sunday, join us at Tamara Ranch, to witness our rotational grazing practices in action. Experience the stark difference decades of regenerative farming have made to the land and livestock. Meet our cow-calf pairs and sheep and lambs, enjoying the lush summer grazing fields that exemplify our dedication to sustainable agriculture. Learn about the environmental benefits of our practices and how they contribute to soil health and biodiversity.

Experience Majak Meadows: Whether you visit us on Saturday at Majak Meadows or Sunday at Tamara Ranch, Majak Meadows welcomes you to connect with nature, learn how your food is raised and discover the beauty of sustainable farming in rural Alberta.

Ever wondered how we manage our land and livestock? Come along for an informative pasture walk, where we’ll take you through the ins and outs of rotational grazing. Learn how we move our animals, ensure they have access to water, and manage the land using adaptive grazing techniques.

This is a great opportunity to see sustainable farming practices in action and ask any questions you might have. Whether you’re a fellow farmer or just curious about how your food is raised, we’d love to have you join us!
