Our aim is the be a leader in the craft industry and foster partnerships with other local businesses while producing the highest quality spirits possible for our customers!

Rig Hand Craft Distillery is a grain to glass distillery and is in the unique position of being the first craft distillery in the greater Edmonton area. Our family business makes vodka, rum, whiskey, gin, moonshine, and our award-winning coffee cream liquor that is locally sourced, produced, and distributed. Our main grain supplier is Schneider Farms, a fourth-generation farm located three miles from the distillery. Our products are packaged in a distinctive trademarked bottle that is a replica of the Leduc #1 drilling rig, paying tribute to our rich history of both agriculture and resource development in Alberta. It is Alberta in a Bottle.

We offer tours and tastings, and both private and semi-private events. Our distillery is located on a working hobby farm, utilizing the land and the livestock.

For 2024 Alberta Open Farm Days we will be hosting hourly tours as usual.

The Tours are free- if you would like to try samples at the end of the tour there will be a $10 Fee for the beverages,

We are also planning a pig roast, outdoor bar, and children’s activities on the patio (weather permitting).

• Saturday visiting hours are 10AM – 9PM,
• Sunday visiting hours are 10AM – 2PM.

We have a full kitchen and bar, and brunch on the weekends.
