We offer free, guided walking tours of our farm throughout the day, guided by one of our family members; Rod, Andria, Jessica or Briana. Our other family members, Janet, Derrick and others will be assisting with registration, lunch and kids play area.

Rod and Janet started farming in the Dapp area in 1989 and have implemented many practices and management systems to improve the soils, vegetation, and wildlife of the farmland while also growing the farm business into a successful operation that is now in transition to the next generation.

We raise cattle, poultry and hogs for our farm-direct meat business and we will have a variety of products available to purchase and take home that day! So we suggest that you bring a cooler or box!

Tour Highlights:

– visit the laying hens; feed them grass and pick eggs
– learn about feed sources; barley, wheat, pellets, rations, minerals
– brush and pet the ‘ranch’ horses
– neighbouring farm will be bringing sheep!
– feed and observe pastured beef steers
– tractor haywagon ride to cow-calf herd (small fee)

Plus! A large sand area and toys for kids to enjoy while adults relax in our gorgeous yard.

BBQ Lunch & refreshments will be available to purchase – meat from our own products!
