O’Canada Bison Wool corp is an Alberta farm family owned company that brings the magic of bison wool to your feet, and bison tallow to your body! Our Made in Alberta bison wool socks simply are incredible and work – whether you are outside to work or play in winter. Bison fibre is moisture-wicking, 10X warmer than other natural fibres and make socks that can’t be beat for warmth and durability. New for 2024 was our line of moisturizing bison tallow lotion and soaps. And in 2025 we began developing a line of bison filled batting – that can be used in quilting or other insulated products that we will be bringing to market this 2025 fall. Join us to get some of the bison magic in your life on Sunday August 20th as we take groups of interested folks around our shop. You will get a chance to see how the bison fibre is collected (shearing a hide) then get processed into different grades of fibre, and even check out our batting line production machine as well. Explore yarns, socks, and much more in our 1.5 hr tours. Our bison retail products, made 100% in Alberta/Canada will be available for sale.
