Absolutely! Open Farm Days is a perfect opportunity to bring your kids to a farm and teach them about how food is produced and gets to their table.
Chose your farm trip with your children in mind depending on what they would like to experience during Open Farm Days.
If you’re planning on participating through Open Farm Days, first check out the farm listing on the website [insert link] and browse through the many categories of farms and regions that you would like to visit.
Things to consider, checking the date the farm is participating (Saturday, Sunday or both days), the time of day they are opening their farm.

Many farms are offering a lunch as part of their event. Food events can be a great way to try something new, experience a picnic on a farm and eat delicious local food.

You’ll be visiting working farms and food producers who have volunteered their time to opening their farms/operations for visits. Please listen to instructions and follow protocols set out by the farms and operators. These are working farms and safety is number 1!
