Come Join 5S Farms for our second Open Farm Days On Saturday August 16th 

This is a great chance to get up close to some of our livestock, and a full in depth view of the Butchershop. This is where we process all the animals on site for a full beginning to end, Farm to Table experience for our customers. 5S Farms is a fully licensed Butchershop and retail location. We will being doing some meat processing Demo’s through the day and Hosting a BBQ for lunch.

Our farm will be open to visitors on Saturday, August 16th  2025 from 9:00 am to 5 pm for free tours and demonstrations:

EVENT ACTIVITES

• BBQ, Homemade Burgers as well as Hotdogs & Taco in a bag 11-3pm (Cash and Card accepted)
• Retail store open from 9am-5pm (We offer Steaks, Burgers, Jerky, Sausages, Bacon, Flour, jams, Tallow lotions, soaps and much more)
• 1/2 Pig cutting demo. learn how to breakdown a 1/2 pig from whole carcass into edible steaks and pork chops.
• Free Glitter tattoos 10-4pm

Pig Cutting demo will be approximately 90 minute session. Will demonstrate how to break down a half of a pig into the cuts you would see at your local grocery store and some cuts most major retail chains do not offer. Will give a guided breakdown of the processes, the tools used and regulations that govern our butchershop as well as the knowledge so that the consumer can not only make smarter choices on what they eat, but what best suits their families. All visitors will be able to tour the butchershop during these sessions and spend as little or as much time as they like, whether its just watching or asking questions.
