Come Join 5S Farms for our first Open Farm Days On Saturday August 17th.

Sorry for the inconvenience we have had to postpone our Beef Cutting course due to equipment issues! please contact us to get on the list for a new date to do a beef processing course. 

This is a great chance to get up close to some of our livestock, and a full in depth view of the Butchershop. This is where we process all the animals on site for a full beginning to end -Farm to Table experience for our customers. 5S Farms is a fully licensed Butchershop and retail location. We will being doing some meat processing Demo’s trough the day and Hosting a BBQ for lunch.

Our farm will be open to visitors on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 from 9:00 am to 5 pm for free tours and demonstrations:

EVENT ACTIVITES

• BBQ, Homemade Burgers as well as Hotdogs 12-3pm (Cash and Card accepted)
• Retail store open from 10am-5pm (We offer Steaks, Burgers, Jerky, Sausages, Bacon, B.C Fruit and much more)
• Little Gems Farms will also be on set up on site with all their beautiful produce of veggies.
• Free Glitter tattoos 10-4pm
• Kwality Kacks will be here with some beautiful baking and sweet treats.

Beef Cutting Course will be approximately 3 hours per session and two sessions in total. Will demonstrate how to break down each quarter into the cuts you would see at your local grocery store and some cuts most major retail chains do not offer. Will give a guided breakdown of the processes, the tools used and regulations that govern our butchershop as well as the knowledge so that the consumer can not only make smarter choices on what they eat, but what best suits their families. All visitors will be able to tour the butchershop during these sessions and spend as little or as much time as they like, whether its just watching or asking questions.
