Welcome to Anohka Distillery!

We are a farm based distillery, where we grow our own wheat and barley in order to produce the best whisky in the world!*

In addition to whisky, we make the some of the best gins in the country.**

For open farm days we will be offering:

  • Free tastings 
  • Tours of our distillery and our barley field.
  • For families we will offer free face painting and henna tattoos!
  • For those of you who might be hungry we will be cooking up some burgers.

*Our whisky spirit took the highest score in the world at the 2022 IWSC and was named the World’s Best New Make and Young Spirit at the 2024 World Whiskies Awards!

**Our Tempest Dry Gin won Best Canadian London Dry Gin at the 2022 World Gin Awards and our Timeless Dry Gin won Best Canadian Classic Gin in 2024!

We are located on the south-west corner of Hwy 16 and Hwy 770

If you are coming from Edmonton, please take Hwy 16 West (Yellowhead West) and take a left at Hwy 770 (approx 150m after the exit for Hwy 43). Then take your first right. We will be the two large building at the top of the hill.
