ARAS Community Growing Patch is a vibrant community garden space where people come together to grow vegetables, fruits, and flowers while learning from one another through weekly workshops and hands-on experiences. Regular programs include Saturday learning sessions and our Lil Wigglers “mom and me” garden group on Wednesdays.

During Alberta Open Farm Days, we’ll offer:
U-dig vegetables for sale (including beets and more)
Guided tours of our seasonal projects like the lasagna garden, potatoes in straw, and Three Sisters planting
Local vendors, community demos, and
The Strathcona County Bookmobile, with family-friendly activities
