Whether you are in Calgary for business or pleasure, Bridgeland Distillery is situated across the Bow River from Downtown where locals and tourists enjoy the must-see attractions that Calgary has to offer. The unmistakable sweet aromas of our distillery immediately hit your senses as you step inside our comfortable tasting room. A taste of each of the spirits undeniably let you know you are in a premium distillery that takes pride in craftsmanship. We are a local batch production facility where all milling, mashing, fermentation, distillation, barrel aging and bottling is done under one roof.

The Artisans at Work experience means discovering a trade or a practice that is rooted in traditional know-how that has endured and evolved over time. It is to have the privilege of meeting and learning from a passionate artisan. It is to enjoy an enriching and authentic experience in an ÉCONOMUSÉE®. In addition to offering an authentic experience, the artisans in the network produce and market products from the arts and crafts and bio-food industries.

Open Farm Days Connection — Water in Focus

Bridgeland Distillery will participate in Open Farm Days on August 16–17, 2025, offering free tours—canceling usual paid tours to open up specially for guests. Thanks to their registration, visitors can “book a tour” through their website, now offered for free on those days .

The theme of this year’s event? Water—focused on how farms and food systems rely on it. Bridgeland fits the bill beautifully, with every step—from mash to bottle—woven around water.

During the free two‑day event, guests can:

• See the mash tuns where barley + glacier water meet
• Smell fermentation rising, balanced by water temperature and yeast activity.
• See the copper stills where the final spirit is produced.
• Taste the results: whisky, brandy, and small‑batch grappa, all proofed and presented with water clarity in every sip.

Leave with a richer understanding: water isn’t just an ingredient; it’s a process partner, a flavour mediator, and the spirit of the distillation itself.

We will take you on a tour of our facility with a great explanation of the Brandy, Whisky and Grappa making process, followed by a tasting of 3 products of your choice.
