Welcome to Pierogerie, where we grow pierogi from the ground up.
Pierogerie Polish Foods Inc. is Alberta’s first certified organic Polish pierogi maker and first ÉCONOMUSÉE® Pierogi Maker. Located on our family farm just outside Edmonton, we grow many of the organic ingredients used in our pierogi, including potatoes, onions, cabbage, and dill. Discover how we “grow pierogi from the ground up” through organic and regenerative farming practices that promote healthy soil, biodiversity, and great food.
Saturday Activities (11:00 am – 4:00 pm)
- Free guided farm tours throughout the day
- Visit Alberta’s first ÉCONOMUSÉE® Pierogi Maker and experience our “field to plate” story
- Learn about organic and regenerative farming, soil health, composting, and biodiversity
- Free children’s activities
- Hot food available for purchase, featuring our organic pierogi and cabbage rolls (approximately $15 per plate)

Embark on a fascinating journey into the world of dynamic herbs with local herbalist Erin Armstrong and discover how these plant allies can transform your digestive health. Our understanding of gut health has recently evolved, revealing its critical connection to brain health, stress management, and immune system resilience. While digestive aids such as probiotics like pickles and kombucha have gained popularity, there’s a whole realm of prebiotic plants and herbs that offer protective and healing benefits for your digestive system as well. Learn about the remarkable properties of herbs that can protect the stomach lining and flowers that can soothe inflammation throughout the digestive tract. Some of these plants may already be growing in your garden or wild in your yard! Participants will take home a carefully crafted herbal product to support their digestive journeys.
