  • free entry to the kid’s 10 minute corn and sunflower mazes;
  • join a free farm tour
  • join a free grow-your-own Fruit Tree Workshop for Beginners at 10am, 2pm or 4pm.

First established in 1956, this award-winning 70 year-old farm has lots of nooks and crannies to explore! There are antique apple trees and newly planted farm orchards with apples, cherries, plums, rhubarb, raspberries, apricots, currants, and haskaps to investigate. You can purchase fruit trees and berry plants to take home.  There is a petting farm for goat “schnuggles”, a corn and a sunflower maze for kids,  a Country Store to shop for goodies in.

Come back through the summer on Saturdays for Elder Bill’s Ways of the Land workshops, or in the fall to experience our Sunflower Fest on the Sept long weekend, and our 38th Annual Falloween & Haunted Pumpkin Festivals in September and October (weekends).

Other things to purchase to support the farm:

  • Delicious Farm Lunch includes a lovely picnic site in the shade of 70 year old trees, Hot Dog Roast Kit  or a Picnic to Go
  • U-Pick Garlic
  • U-Pick Tart Cherries while they last
  • U-Pick Farm Veggies (Cucumbers, Flowers, Tomatoes)
  • Alberta Hardy Fruit Trees & Berry Plants (Hundreds to choose from) to take home
  • Train Ride Tickets
  • Gem Mining
  • Face-painting for the Kids
  • Farm Pickles, Jams, Cookies and Treats and Ice Cold Refreshments
  • Foothills Creamery Ice Cream Cones

On Sunday, there is a Made in Alberta Longtable Farm Dinner from 5pm – 9pm with well known folk signer-songwriter John Hewitt, showcasing the abundance of the region and our farm. Tickets are limited – don’t wait to sign up! Buy your tickets HERE
