Have you always wanted to be less dependent on The System to keep you alive? OR go towards Off Grid / Self-sufficient living?
*Concerned about your future or your kids’ future?
*Want to have confidence in any situation and teach your kids the same?

Owners Juli & Jeff Gillies are passionate about exploring new sustainable ideas and sharing them with the world. Jeff’s background in soil science and construction, combined with Juli’s marketing and family skills, make J2 a dynamic duo for building and showing off their Permaculture Demonstration Farm near Rocky Mountain House, AB. Their farm demonstrates a new way of living where health, happiness, and sustainability are the goals, and abundance is on the horizon.

This beautiful five-acre permaculture demonstration farm has the potential to host events, workshops, and courses, while offering affordable, comfortable, all-inclusive accommodations. The resort creates a friendly, comfortable atmosphere that enhances social interaction, connections with the natural world, and confidence in themselves as an informed consumer.

We are surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes including forest, open fields and a nice view of snow-capped mountains. We are in close proximity to amazing activities like hiking, wildlife viewing, the mountain parks, and a UNESCO world heritage site just to name a few.
