Our aim is the be a leader in the craft industry and foster partnerships with other local businesses while producing the highest quality spirits possible for our customers!

Rig Hand is in the unique position of being the first craft distillery in the greater Edmonton area. Our family based business makes exceptional handcrafted liquor that is locally sourced, produced, and distributed. Our products are packaged in a distinctive trademarked bottle that is a replica of the Leduc #1 drilling rig, paying tribute to our rich history of both agriculture and resource development in Alberta.

Our aim is to be a leader in the craft industry and foster partnerships with other local businesses while producing the highest quality spirits possible for our customers. We offer tours and tastings, and both private and semi-private events. Our distillery is located on a working hobby farm, utilizing the land and the livestock.

For 2026 Alberta Open Farm Days we will be hosting hourly tours as usual.

While tours are free, if you would like to try samples at the end of the tour there will be a $10 fee. This includes samples and 1 beverage from our select menu. Please pay in our store.
