Rocking T Farms is a first generation regenerative family farm.

Rocking T Farms is a regenerative family farm. We produce pasture raised pork and cover-crop finished beef, with plans of starting a market garden and producing cover crop seed.

All health starts in the soil microbiome. Without soil health there is no plant health, no animal health, and ultimately, no human health. We do our best to contribute to the health of our eco-system through our farming practices. Rotational grazing and cover crops are at the forefront of that. Our pigs are moved on a daily basis to not only spread manure and wake up the soil, but to also prepare the land for a light tillage pass that can then be seeded with diverse cover crops. During spring and summer the cows are moved on our perennial pastures, where they feast on a beautiful mix of legumes, grasses and brassicas. In the fall, to allow our perennials ample time to set root and recover for winter, we move the cows onto the previously seeded cover crops to finish them for the last few weeks before their butcher dates. 

Join us for a day of walking through our pasture and learning about regenerative agriculture.

Bring a good pair of shoes, or come with bare feet if you like, and come for a walk with us. Grab a coffee and hang out in the garden, learn where and how your food is produced. Dig a hole and look at what is happening below. Connect the dots, connect to the land and enjoy a day outside!
