TRAD Worm Industries is an award-winning environmental agriculture company based in Southern Alberta, specializing in vermicomposting and organic waste recovery. Our patented modular systems transform landfill-diverted food waste into nutrient-rich worm castings used to regenerate soil and support sustainable farming practices.

During Alberta Open Farm Days, visitors to TRAD will get a hands-on look at the fascinating world of worms and soil health. Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to handle live composting worms, learn about their role in breaking down organic material, and explore the science of soil regeneration.

We will also be offering live demonstrations of our worm casting harvesting process, showing how finished compost is separated from the worms and prepared for agricultural use. Educational displays, guided tours, and Q&A sessions with our team will help visitors understand how TRAD is creating a circular economy through waste recovery, soil restoration, and biological farming.

It’s a fun, educational experience for the whole family—whether you’re a gardener, farmer, or just curious about what lives under your feet!
