The Good Garlic Company is a family-owned garlic farm located in Lamont County, Alberta.

We grow premium, Alberta-grown garlic and produce value-added garlic products, all with a focus on quality, freshness, and supporting local food systems.

During Alberta Open Farm Days, visitors will have the opportunity to learn how garlic is grown and produced on our farm. Through displays, demonstrations, and conversations with the farmers, guests will discover the journey from planting and growing to harvesting, curing, and processing. We’ll share what makes locally grown Canadian garlic different from imported products, including its freshness, flavour, and quality.

Visitors can learn about garlic scapes and their unique culinary uses, as well as best practices for storing garlic at home. We will also have an “Ask the Farmer” area where guests can stop by, ask questions, and learn more about garlic production, farming practices, and the importance of supporting local agriculture.

Fresh garlic bundles will be available for purchase for visitors who would like to take garlic home to cure and enjoy. Visitors can also shop our farm-grown garlic powder and garlic scape powder, crafted from garlic grown right here on our farm.

Whether you’re a home cook, gardening enthusiast, or simply curious about where your food comes from, we look forward to welcoming you to the farm.
