We thought we’d open for tours, but with the rain holding off, it’s all hands, all hay, all weekend long ☀️

Family-run and built on equal parts horsepower and elbow grease, Toews & Bale turns good prairie grass into great hay. From alfalfa, Timothy, orchard grass mixes to custom-mixed grains, we bale it, stack it, and ship it near and far (yes, even as far as Florida).

On Open Farm Days, expect tractors, tall tales, and maybe a shear-bolt repair or two, because real farm tours don’t always go according to plan. www.haybales.ca

🌻 Also home to PoppyWynnFlower Co, a working cut-flower farm in Thorhild County, growing hardy, seasonal blooms for florists, brides, and flower lovers; always “homegrown, not flown.”

Open Farm Days visitors can stroll the rows and see the farm in full colour, though if the weather’s right, you might catch us in the field cutting—because flowers wait for no one.
