What is Alberta Open Farm Days?
Alberta Open Farm Days is a province-wide open house that invites people to experience agriculture firsthand. The program connects Albertans with local farms, ranches, and food producers through educational and hands-on experiences, helping people better understand where their food comes from and who produces it.
Becoming a host is simple. We start by collecting a few basic details such as your location, contact information, and the type of experience you would like to offer. From there, our team works with you to build a host profile and create promotional content to help showcase your farm during Open Farm Days weekend (the third weekend in August).
