Host Registration

We are excited for another year of Alberta Open Farm Days and to have you join us to celebrate agriculture in Alberta and rural tourism.

Please complete the following form to save your spot for Open Farm Days August 17 & 18, 2024. We will be sending you additional information in the coming days and weeks including information on training and updating your Open Farm Days profile on our website.  

Please note the changes for farm gate signs for 2024

Open Farm Days provides road and farm gate signage for participating Host Farms,  however starting in 2024 we are changing our policy. Farm gate and roadside signs will be assigned at no cost for the following eligible farms:
  • Farms that have never participated in Open Farm Days OR
  • Host farms that participated in Open Farm Days in 2022 or earlier (2021, 2020 etc.)
Farms that participated in Open Farm Days in 2023 will not be eligible for a new set of free farm gate signs until 2025. If you participated in Open Farm Days in 2023 and require additional signage, OR, if you require more than one set, please email info@albertaopenfarmdays.ca for more information regarding pricing of additional signs. Sign Sizes: Farm sign size: 48" x 36" (1 each in a set) with grommets in each corner. Roadside sign is 32" x 48" (2 each in a set) printing on both sides, foldable. Directional Arrows 11" x 9" (4 each in a set) Deadline to register is April 30, 2024.

Host Resources

As a host farm for Open Farm Days, we provide materials to help your event. Please indicate below if you require these add-ons.
Open Farm Days provides Host Buttons for all farms (up to 10) that are helpful to identify you as the Open Farm Days Host/Volunteer. Will you require buttons?(Required)

Host Farm Signs

Open Farm Days provides road and farm gate signage for participating Host Farms. However starting in 2024 we are changing our policy. Starting in 2024 farm gate and roadside signs will be assigned at no cost for the following eligible farms: Farms that have never participated in Open Farm Days OR, Host farms that participated in Open Farm Days in 2022 or earlier (2021, 2020 etc.)
Will you require Farm signage. Please note the above, that signage will be provided for free to Host Farms that haven't participated before, or haven't participated since 2022.
If you received a sign in 2023 you are not eligible to receive a sign in 2024. We will be issuing signs every 2 years to participating farms. If you participated in 2023 and still require a sign package, please select "yes" and we will be in touch shortly.
Signs will be delivered to the Peavey Marts by mid July, we will communicate with the farms when they are ready for pick up. If you are unable to pick up at one of these locations please indicate below why you can't and someone from the OFD team will reach out to you with your options.(Required)
