Broxburn Vegetables & Cafe is known for our strawberry u-pick, our pesticide and insecticide free vegetables, and our farm-to-table cafe. All of our vegetables are harvested when ripe, which allows them to have the best possible flavor.

A unique feature about Broxburn Vegetables & Cafe is that all the meals served in our cafe showcase vegetables that are grown and harvested only a few hundred yards away from where you will be eating! Our motto is “From Plant to Plate.” It truly does not get much fresher than that.

Visitors will leave our farm with the knowledge of how we grow our vegetables in our greenhouse, why we do not use chemicals, and why we harvest our vegetables when ripe, as opposed to pre-ripened. Visitors who go on the hay ride will be able to see multiple crops growing around our farm.

Our host and farmer, Paul, bought our farm in 1994 and has been providing Alberta with fresh vegetables ever since! Paul pours his heart into his farm, and loves teaching others where their food comes from.

• Free greenhouse tours at 11:00 am & 1:00pm. All tour participants will be entered to win a $200 gift certificate to our vegetable store!
• $3 Hayrides around the farm from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
• Free veggie samples from a selection of our farm fresh and seasonal vegetables
• Strawberry & raspberry picking will be open from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm for $4.00/lb
• Broxburn Café will be open for lunch service from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Big slide and playground will be open
