When you come to MJ Bender Farms you will be able to experience a wide variety of farm life. We have free range chickens that lay eggs, several sheep, some horses, cows, and even a llama. The main focus of our farm however, is the grain operation. Here you can see the variety and size of equipment that we use and some of the processes for value added. On our farm we take great pride in caring for the land and to be good stewards of what we have been given- this plays out in every area of our management. Visiting our farm, you will get the experience of many aspects of grain production, the joys of keeping small livestock as well as the benefits of bringing our products to the table.
Come out to MJ Bender Farms with your family to discover what farm life is all about.
Our tours will consist of:
-viewing farm equipment used in our grain operation
-observe a demonstration of our home grown wheat being processed into flour
-learn how our vegetable garden is grown
Additional activities include:
-petting and feeding our sheep, horses, cows, and chickens
-purchasing home baked goods made from our homegrown, stoneground flour
