Root and Regenerate urban farms operates on multiple plots of land throughout Calgary. The location of the tour is our main plot which is about 1/4 acre. On it we grow a variety of produce, have a 55 x 16′ greenhouse, as well as our cooler.
The tour will look at the method of “no-dig” that we use in our farming, as well as other aspects of our regenerative farming approach.
We will also talk about urban farming, the pros, cons, and how it works.
