facility featuring a large herd of personable, friendly horses, many different
gardens and nature-based learning. Wildhorse Agri-tourism: Using sustainable
permaculture and regenerative methods to provide local food in Alberta. Helping
to connect people to their roots and farm fresh food. Come put your hands in the
dirt and feel refreshed! All Programs expand on “The Wild Bouquet of Life and
their Wildhorse Way”! Diane and Bear are passionate about horses and the land
and want to share their knowledge with you.
Educational Learning
- Walk to Fort Phantom to view a variety of Indigenous plants including
Sweetgrass and Sage. Look inside the Spirit Lodge. View lots of veggies,
fruit bushes and trees that grow well in Alberta. - Conversation and Relaxing by the campfire
- Western Culture is alive and well at Wildhorse Ranch
- Home grown Garden veggies fruits and flowers for learning
Paid Event:
- Trail to Remembering – A wagon ride on the Forget Me Not Trail to one
of our Four Groves. A place for Quiet, peaceful, sanctuary, a place to
remember. Adults and children ages 10 and up $5.00/person. The
wagon leaves at 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00 and this takes about an hour.
Garden Food/Flowers for Sale:
- Bring your cooler and cash to purchase home grown, chemical free,
fresh frozen raspberries, and saskatoon. $5.00 and $10.00 packages.
Buy: fresh flower bouquets – $10.00 and $20.00 each
Fresh raspberries, zucchini, and whatever else is ripe at this time – $5.00 - Sweet Treats – $3.00 each
- Water or Pop – $3.00 each
- Wildhorse Trading Post – various Indigenous and locally made items for sale
